Website Terms of Use

Last updated: 29 July 2026

In short We both lend and introduce. We lend our own money to incorporated UK businesses for advances up to £75,000, and introduce them to third-party lenders for anything else. We don't give advice, and we can't guarantee an offer. Using this website means you accept these terms.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

This website is operated by Solvo Funding Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Solvo Funding, registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], with registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You can contact us at nir@solvofunding.co.uk or on +44 20 4577 4091.

These terms apply to your use of this website and to enquiries made through it. By using the site, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

2. What we do — and what we don't

Business finance provided to limited companies and LLPs is generally not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and protections that apply to consumer credit do not usually apply. Directors may be asked to give personal guarantees, which can put personal assets at risk if the company does not repay — take independent advice before giving one.

3. No guarantee of funding

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee an introduction, an offer, or funding. All finance is subject to status and to each lender's own assessment and criteria. Timescales quoted on this site (for example, funding in 24–72 hours) are indicative of typical cases and are not a commitment. Illustrative figures, including factor-rate examples, are examples only and are not quotes or offers.

4. The free credit assessment

The check at /credit-check/ is a free tool we provide as general information. It is produced by an automated system which reads your company's public Companies House record and scores the amount and term you enter against it. No person writes the result.

It is not a lending decision, an offer, a quote, a credit search or advice. Running it does not submit an application, no lender sees the result, and it does not commit you, us or any lender to anything. It has no effect on your company's credit file — we do not search your company's credit file in order to produce it, and running the check leaves no record with any credit reference agency. Any real lending decision is made later, by a lender, on a full application and under that lender's own criteria; section 3 applies to it in full.

Indicative rates, monthly payments and every other figure the check produces are illustrations generated from public data, not quotes. They may differ materially from anything a lender would actually offer, and you should not rely on them in deciding anything. The underlying data comes from the Companies House register and can be out of date, incomplete or wrong; we do not warrant it, and section 7 applies to the check as it does to the rest of this site.

Use the check for your own company, or for a company you are authorised to act for. Do not use it to assess companies you have no connection with, and do not use it automatically, in bulk, or to compile a dataset. Each check costs us real money to run, so we may rate-limit it, refuse a request, or withdraw the tool at any time, for any reason and without notice. It is free, and we make no commitment to keep providing it.

What we collect when you use it, how long we keep it, and your rights over an automated assessment are set out in our privacy policy — sections 2, 6, 9 and 11.

5. Fees and commission

Where Solvo Funding is the lender: we charge no fee to apply and no fee to receive an offer. If you accept an advance, an arrangement fee — currently 5% of the advance — is deducted from the amount paid to you at funding. The exact amount in pounds is stated in your agreement before you sign it. We may also pay a commission to a third party who introduced you to us; where that applies we will tell you, and tell you the amount, before you accept.

Where Solvo Funding acts as an introducer: you pay us nothing. The lender pays us a commission, typically 2%–6% of the amount advanced and higher on some specialist facilities. We disclose the amount in pounds, the percentage, and the figure the percentage is calculated on, before you accept any offer.

Commission is typically 2%–6%, calculated on the amount advanced to your company.

There is one exception to that basis, and it matters. On a revolving credit line, an overdraft-type facility, or any other facility with an approved limit that you draw against in part, commission is calculated on the approved facility limit and not on the amount you draw. It does not fall if you draw less than the limit. On a £70,000 revolving line at 5% of the limit, our commission is £3,500 whether you draw the full £70,000 or only £20,000 — and on a £20,000 drawdown that is 17.5% of the money your company actually received, even though the rate is 5%.

On merchant cash advance, revenue-based finance and some specialist facilities, commission may be higher than 6%.

We publish no maximum. There is no ceiling of any kind. We would rather publish nothing than a maximum we cannot stand behind.

In place of a maximum, we give you this undertaking. On every deal, in writing, before you accept any offer, and without your having to ask, we will tell you three things: the amount of commission in pounds sterling, the percentage, and the figure that percentage is calculated on — the amount advanced, or the facility limit where the exception above applies. All three, every time. A percentage on its own is not disclosure and we do not treat it as one. You may also ask us for the same three items in writing at any other point, before or after completion, at no charge and without giving a reason: email nir@solvofunding.co.uk.
