Business funding in Liverpool

Working capital for Liverpool limited companies — £10,000 to £75,000 from our own book, decided by us, funded in 24–72 hours of final documents.

Solvo Funding lends to limited companies and LLPs in Liverpool and across Merseyside. We are a direct lender: the money is ours, the credit decision is ours, and your file is not passed around a panel of lenders looking for someone to say yes.

What we fund in Liverpool

Liverpool is a port city with heavy logistics and a large visitor economy, and the businesses that come to us here are typically in hospitality, logistics, retail and the visitor economy. The reason is usually the same regardless of trade: money goes out before it comes in, and a short, fixed-cost advance closes that gap without giving up equity or waiting on a bank.

What it costs

We do not charge interest. One fixed total is agreed before you sign, using a factor rate. Here is a £30,000 advance on our published rates:

Whether a Liverpool company qualifies

Four minimums. Meeting them is not the same as being approved — it is the point at which applying is worth your time:

  • UK limited company or LLP — incorporated and registered at Companies House.
  • 6+ months trading — six months is the least we can work with.
  • £10,000+ monthly turnover — consistent, and visible in the business bank account.
  • Active UK business current account — this is where the underwriting actually happens.

Why being a direct lender matters

Most funding routes available to a Liverpool business are brokered: your application is submitted to a panel, and you wait while it is shopped around. Solvo funds £10,000 to £75,000 from its own book, so there is one decision, made by the people who priced it, usually within the same working day. Above £75,000 we arrange the facility with a lending partner and tell you up front which route applies.

Frequently asked questions

Do you lend to companies based in Liverpool?

Yes. Solvo lends to UK limited companies and LLPs across the whole of the UK, including Liverpool and the wider Merseyside area. We are not a branch-based lender — the application, underwriting and funding all happen remotely, which is what makes 24–72 hour funding possible.

How quickly can a Liverpool business be funded?

Usually 24–72 hours after your final documents are received. The clock starts when the file is complete, so the fastest route is to have three to six months of business bank statements ready before applying.

What does a Solvo advance cost?

There is no interest. We agree one fixed total before you sign, using a factor rate — 1.48 over 20 weeks or 1.55 over 26 weeks on our published example. A 5% arrangement fee is deducted from the advance at funding. Your own rate is set by underwriting and stated in pounds before signature.

What are the minimum criteria for a Liverpool company?

The same across the UK: a UK limited company or LLP registered at Companies House, at least six months of trading, consistent monthly turnover of £10,000 or more visible in the business bank account, and an active UK business current account. Meeting these is not the same as being approved.

Can I borrow more than £75,000?

Above £75,000 we arrange the facility through our lending partners rather than funding it from our own book. Tell us the figure you need and we will tell you which route applies before you apply.

Illustrative only. Solvo Funding is a UK direct lender for limited companies and LLPs and also acts as an intermediary for facilities above £75,000. Advances are subject to underwriting; meeting the minimum criteria is not the same as being approved and we cannot guarantee an offer. Finance for limited companies and LLPs is generally not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We lend across the whole of the UK — we do not operate a branch network, and no local presence is implied.
